Day 24 of the Challenge

Hello readers, welcome to day twenty-four of the 31 day challenge to bring you a bible verse on marriage each day.
Day 24 -
"Then he is to take his wife to the priest. He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah of barley flour on her behalf. He must not pour olive oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, a reminder-offering to draw attention to wrongdoing."
--Numbers 5:15
This verse today is about fidelity. No one is perfect and people mess up and do cheat but when that happens to you, you forgive but the trust is broken. We need to set up checkpoints in our marriage to help prevent this or build back the trust when it does happen. Checkpoints could be like a shared bank account, shared email address, shared Facebook account, pretty much anything that allows the other to check out what the other is doing, in other words being transparent is the key. Does your husband know you had lunch with a male coworker today? Would he be ok with it if he did know? This is just an example of one thing that could happen that your spouse could not be ok with or get jealous about and jealousy will tear apart a marriage. Be transparent and just be accountable to each other with everything you do and you should both be happy together. Loves.
