Verse of the Week

Hello my wonderful readers. This week's verse is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."  This verse means a lot to me, no matter what happens I can do anything as long as I believe in The Lord. This verse is especially important to me right now because we are moving, I'm moving to a new store and I'm pregnant all at the same time. It's a lot to take on all at once so I am going to be praying a lot and looking at this verse. Just believe in Him and you can do anything. Loves.

Verse of the Week

Hello wonderful readers. Today's verse of the week is from Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." This verse is important to me because me and Aaron have had multiple conversations about how we are going to raise our children and what we will teach them. I do believe this verse, what you teach your children will stick with them for the rest of their lives. Give your children lots of love for sure, I think that is one of the most important things to give them. Loves.

5. Add vanilla, food color and orange zest.

Spending a Wonderful Weekend Together

Hello my amazing readers. A couple weekends ago me and my husband both had three days in a row off, which is a surprise, and we also had no commitments of any kind, which is more of a surprise. So we spent the whole weekend together just hanging out. Friday we had a romantic dinner at home. Saturday we drove to the place where we think we are going to move to and looked a places to live. Sunday we did absolutely nothing and sat on the couch and watched the Olympics and movies all day. Monday we went to a couple places shopping and then went to one of my favorite wineries in the area, Crooked Vine/Stoney Ridge Winery in Livermore.

Overall the weekend was the best weekend we have had together alone since our honeymoon about 5 months ago, and it was something we needed. Hope all of your lives are going amazing. Loves.

Verse of the Week

Today's verse of the week is Matthew 15:28. The verse is "Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour." This weeks verse is on faith. A woman had great faith in Jesus and her prayers were answered. If we have great faith in Jesus ourselves He will answer our prayers. But you also have to always keep in mind He only answers the prayers that are His will, if there is something you want that is not in His plan for you, He might not answer it because He most likely has bigger and better things for you. Just always keep that in mind when you are praying for things from Him. But always remember to have great faith in Him always. Loves.

Wednesday Recipe - Potato Wedges

Hello my hungry readers. Lately we have been addicted to and craving potato wedges so I put about a cup of canola oil in a small iron skillet, heated it up. I cut up a potato to our desired size of wedges and when the oil was hot enough (dip the potato in the oil and if it starts to bubble its ready), I just dropped (carefully!) the wedges in. I let them cook about 3-4 minutes on each side until brown, then I put them on a plate with a paper towel to catch some extra grease. When they have cooled a little bit I put salt and pepper on them. They are delicious and we have had them for breakfast, lunch or with dinner or a snack.

Hope you love these yummy treats as much as we do. Loves.

DIY - Candle Covers

Hello wonderful readers. So I thought I would share another DIY I did for Valentine's Day but I think I will use them all year because they are so cute. I just had some pillar candles hanging around so I decided to get some of my fabric I had around with hearts on it and make a cover for each candle that covers about 3/4 of the candle. I honestly just eye balled the amount of fabric I needed and just made sure it was even. I also eyeballed the the heart I put on the front of the big candle. I put some buttons on the heart and wrapped the heart around the cover with burlap twine. On the small candle I eyeballed the fabric and made sure it was even and just sewed a little jewel button on the front of it.
Hope you love these cute little heart candle covers as much as I do. Loves.

Verse of the Week

Hello my wonderful readers. Today's verse of the week is Proverbs 2:6 "For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." Today's verse is on how you speak around others. You should try to pray everyday for good words out of your mouth. We are only human so we are going to slip with bad words in general or to others every once in awhile but if you pray for God to give you good words in your mouth you will be better off because he will use you to speak knowledge and understanding to others. Loves.

Makeup Look :-)

Hello my wonderful readers. I thought I would share a makeup look with you today for my Monday post. I used my Naked 3 palette and Naked Basics palette to do this look, plus my Maybelline Master Precise liquid eye liner pen.
So to start out I used e.l.f. eyeshadow primer on my eye lids and Maybelline Eraser for under eye dark circles under my eyes, I blended those in. Then I used Mugshot from the Naked 3 palette on my eye lids and then blended Dust from Naked 3 over it and above the eye lid. I then put my liquid black eye liner on my upper lid. To brighten my eyes up a little I used Venus from the Naked Basics palette on my inner eyes. Then I used black Maybelline The Rocket on my eyelashes.
I hope you like this look. Loves.

Verse of the Week

Hello my wonderful readers. Today's verse of the day is Proverbs 1:33 "but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm." This is a verse on listening to The Lord. If you listen to him and follow his commands and what he has to tell you to do you will be taken care of by him and will not have to fear harm. He will take care of you if you follow at all times. Loves.
