Bouncing Baby 2 - Surprise!

Hello my wonderful readers. I just had my 13 week appointment with my doctor to check on things. During the appointment Aaron stayed home to watch Penelope because it was going to be a long appointment, I had to get blood work done after and it would be nap time by then and we all know what happens when a toddler misses nap time haha. When the doctor came in the first thing she did was look for the heartbeat with the doppler handheld machine and she couldn't find it. This made me panic a little but she said it still may be a little early and it's perfectly normal. She then decided to do an ultrasound to see everything was going good in there....well when she did that we both got a little surprise!!
The doctor and I saw two little ones moving around in there! That's right folks...it's TWINS!! We will be going from a family of 3 to 5. I'm due in January but most likely be having these little ones in December! After the shock wore off and after I had to come home and tell Aaron that are baby needs list just got twice as long haha....we are very excited!! We have talked about since the beginning having 4 children so this is just on the way there a little faster haha. Hope you can pick your jaw up off the ground and laugh like we did. Lots of Love your way!

Father's Day 2016

Hello my wonderful readers. This Father's day we celebrated just the three of us and went to a new local Scottish games on Saturday. We got to eat all of our favorites that we normally have there and Penelope had so much fun she fell asleep on the way home. Aaron I think enjoyed himself and we just all around had a good time as a family.

On Sunday we just stayed home in the air conditioning and did nothing. We played with Penelope and watched movies and I made Aaron whatever he wanted for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We just had a good relaxing family weekend. Happy Father's Day to my hubby, can't wait to see him with two little ones next year.  With love always.

Bouncing Baby 2 - 9 Week Update

Hello my wonderful readers. I have been falling behind on my blog because I have felt really bad past 9 weeks. If you didn't see my previous post a few weeks back, WE ARE PREGNANT! Baby T number 2 is cooking away. I didn't know when I wanted to start the updates or if I wanted to do them this time around like I did with Penelope or not, but my pregnancy so far has been a lot different than it was with her. I might not be doing them as often as I did them last time but I will do them every so often. Well we are in week 10 this week so I will give you the update from the beginning through 9 weeks. With my last pregnancy I wasn't really sick at all, this time around it is completely different! I am so sick feeling all the time (not just in the morning) pretty much since I found out and nothing sounds good to eat ever! Besides having a toddler to chase around constantly this time I am extremely tired and just achy all over. I can't sleep very good already because of feeling sick all the time. My belly has already started to harden and I know I will be showing a lot sooner with this one than with the last. Actually as I'm writing this my maternity clothes are in the wash right now, getting them all ready for when I need them since they have been in storage for awhile and moved a couple times haha. Below is the first bump (not really a bump there, that's all my fluff haha) picture and the first ultrasound we had a couple weeks ago and you can kind of see a little something in there. We love him or her already so much and we are trying to teach Penelope about not handling the baby to roughly with her dolls, so wish us luck. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Bouncing Baby - Schedule at 19 Months

Hello my wonderful readers. I thought I would share with you Penelope's schedule now that we have passed that 19 month mark.
We do attend a Moms group in the fall and spring (they are on break for summer) and we would get up earlier and get ready earlier on those days.

  • She has been waking up about 7:30am-8am everyday
  • Diaper change
  • Cup of whole milk
  • About 9am I fix breakfast
  • Diaper change
  • Change clothes for day (lately it's been so hot here this just takes a onesie or t-shirt if we are not going out)
  • Now is the time we would go anywhere if we have to go shopping or park or whatever it may be because she is the happiest at this time and not really in melt down mode.
  • 10a-10:30am Milk time again
  • Noon I will make lunch (water with lunch)
  • Diaper change (she might have another diaper change before this also depending on if she needs one or not)
  • After lunch she will take a nap when she is ready, usually no more than 2 hours and I always wake her by 4pm so she doesn't sleep to late and mess up night time routine
  • Milk when she wakes from nap depending on how late it is
  • 5pm-6pm I will make dinner (hubby joins us around that time)
  • Diaper change
  • 7:30pm-7:45pm bedtime routine will start
  • Bath
  • Milk
  • Book
  • Kisses
  • Usually in bed by 8pm.

Now this will change from time to time depending on how she is doing that day or if we need to be somewhere obviously life happens but on any normal day this is about what happens in our little world. Hope you all love each other!

My Ideal Housecleaning Schedule

Hello my wonderful readers. We all wish that we could follow our ideal housecleaning schedule but I know just like you do that doesn't always happen. Well this is the schedule that I try to follow when possible:

Monday - Relax and play with baby all day :-)
Tuesday - Clean up bathrooms
Wednesday - Child laundry and towels washed
Thursday - Adult laundry
Friday - Vacumm, Trash out
Saturday - Grocery shopping
Sunday - Meal prep for the week

Constant everyday - Dishes, Cloth diaper wash, Trash does go out more than once a week depending on if it's full or not,

I do try to get as much of this done during a week as I can but some times life just happens and that's when we have to just cut ourselves some slack and accept that it might not get done and not be hard on ourselves about it. I am very lucky to have my hubby help me a good amount of time with things when I ask him to. Hope this is helpful. Loves.
