Our House at Christmas

Hello my wonderful readers! So I thought my last post of 2013 would be showing you how we decorated our house for the wonderful holiday of Jesus' birthday.
This is our tree. I love to decorate the tree.
Here is our little candle holder that is on our coffee table with a peppermint candle in it and our wreath in the kitchen. We have a lot of little things around our house but these are best things.
This is our mantel. This is really where all the little things go to.
All the Christmas cards we received this year.
Here is Aaron putting the tree together. See my little nativity scene in the background.
Here is our house from the outside. I love Christmas lights in general, they are amazing. Hope you love our house and goodbye 2013. Loves.

Christmas.....So Much Family Fun!!!

Hello my wonderful readers! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! We had an amazing time. First we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house in Grass Valley the Saturday before Christmas to celebrate with my Mom, Dad, my brother Ian, his girlfriend Cindy, and my niece Sophia, my mom's sister aunt Jill, her husband uncle Ron, their children Ashlee and Geoffrey, and my grandma and her husband Walt, also Aaron was there of course. We stayed the night so we stayed up and all had a good time all night long and into the next morning.
Sophia is here playing with her daddy (my brother Ian). Ashlee is playing Santa by passing out the presents.
Here is everyone.(above) Below you can see my mom, her twin my aunt Jill and my daddy.

Sophia is happy for her present from cousin Ashlee. :-)

But she really wanted cousin Ashlee's Doritos haha.
Here are all four cousins Ashlee, me, Ian and Geoffrey with Sophia.
Sophia still in her pjs with grandma (my mom).

Second, for Christmas eve we go to my nanny and papa's house (my dad's parents). So my parents, my uncle Scott (my dad's brother), Ian, Cindy, Sophia, Me, Aaron and Aaron's mom Rhonda celebrated with them. They live on a street in Ceres called Christmas Tree Lane where all the houses decorate big! They have been doing it since they moved there in 1965. So after dinner every year we open presents and then walk around and look at the lights.
Sophia liked the chair that Great-Grandma and Grandpa got her for Christmas. (above) Aaron loved this penguin that had camo on in someones yard. (below)
It was our first Christmas as Mr. and Mrs. Thorsen in front of my grandparent's house.

We have 12 stockings now...I remember when we only had 7 or 8. Below is our baby, Charlie.
This is my Grandma's Christmas tree. :-)

Christmas day we have the same people as Christmas eve but over at my parents house for a delicious dinner.
Sophia loved Christmas Day and she was so cute in her little outfit. She got the first present. Below is her and grandma (my mom).

She was just having a good time being with the family and her mommy.

My mom's tree was so pretty and there were so many gifts.
Our first Christmas married and below is Sophia with her mommy and daddy.

Below is our table, it just keeps getting longer and longer.

Another one of my mom's beautiful tree.
Us opening all the wonderful presents.

Christmas was so good to be with family. We had an amazing time and were so blessed by all the gifts we received. I hope you and your families had a very Merry Christmas. Loves.

Christmas Presents...I am so Grateful!

Hello my wonderful readers. So this is my Christmas gift haul. I was so very blessed by the family around me! This year I got many wonderful things.
At my Aunt and Uncle's house, our first Christmas, we drew names because there are so many people now, so we each drew two names so everyone got two presents. I got The Pioneer Woman's book "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels" and "It's a Wonderful Life" movie.
The candy, beautiful earrings and Kitchen Aid paddle with spatula on it was from my mother in law.

My mother in law, my mother and my husband all got my gift cards to Ulta, obviously they all know me pretty well. Make up haul to come.
My brother got me "Miss Kay's Duck Commander Kitchen" cookbook. My parents got me the Pioneer Woman's new cookbook and a Kerig cup carousel. All are wonderful!
We also got from my parents an outdoor firepit for our backyard, I am so excited for that. We couldn't bring it home because it didn't fit in the car haha, so my dad has to bring it with his trailer next time he comes up.
This was my gift from my husband, the best gift I received. It is an Origami Owl necklace, it says "love" on the plate in the back, It has charms: tea cup (because I love tea), a London telephone booth (because it was one of the best places I have been to), dog bone (because I love dogs), a purse (because that is my fetish haha), a "T" intial (my new last name), and a heart that is March birthstone (because that is Aaron's birthstone). I love it, my husband did good for our first Christmas being Mr. and Mrs. Thorsen.
We were so very blessed this year from all of our family members. Loves.

Outfit of the Day - December 27, 2013

Hello my fabulous readers! Today's outfit of the day I wore to my mom's side's family Christmas this past weekend. I wanted to be Christmasy but not too much. So I went with my pearls, natural makeup, and hair straight down. I chose my red Old Navy thermal with white polka dots on it with my mint green cardigan (also from Old Navy) and my jean skirt from Target.

I went with my Target american flag know off Toms as the shoes because they are comfy. Loves until next week.
