Bouncing Baby - What is in my Diaper Bag at 11 Months

Hello my wonderful readers. If you go back about a year I posted a what's in my diaper bag post about what we carried around when she was brand new, now she is almost a year and we have slimmed things down. I have a new bag I got as an anniversary present from my wonderful husband, I had been eyeing it for awhile, a Ju Ju Be BFF. I needed a new bag that could go messenger style because we have to carry her to the car and stuff and I couldn't carry her and keep the old one on my shoulder. So here it is.
It has a bottle pocket on each side and two pockets in the front one for mommy stuff and one that is fleece lined for stuff to not get scratched. It also has a pocket in the back that I don't use where the changing pad is.
The picture above shows everything I carry in the outside pockets: usually we have one bottle with us in one of the bottle pockets; in the other bottle pocket I have the sippy cup strap, teething tablets and a teether; the hand sanitizer and chap stick hang on the side I put stuff in; in the front two pockets is mostly my stuff, sunglasses, EOS lip balm, car and house keys, change pouch, headphones, cough drops and hard candy, Kleenex, gum, a hair tie and seabands (I get bad car sick).
This is the inside of the bag it has lots of pockets.
Inside the diaper bag I pretty much carry all of this all the time: 4 size 3 diapers (these are Huggies brand), changing pad (this one is from our old bag but I have the new one now that came with our bag and I will see which one I like best) , Huggies wipe clutch, two Target bags (for dirty diapers, blow out clothes, etc.), Babyganics sunscreen cream and stick (the stick is easier to put on her face), sun bucket hat, baby powder, Butt Paste, formula in a dispenser, toy wipes, boogie wipes, Arm and Hammer scent thing, long sleeve white onesie, pants and long sleeve sweater, Minnie Mouse snack container (puffs, baby goldfish, and yogurt melts), two packs of baby mum mums, Kleenex, floss, two pens, tampon, mommy hook, bib, burp cloth, receiving blanket and my wallet.
I also carry a mini first aid kit with band-aids of all sizes, gauze and wipes. Also I had a lot of small things floating around my bag so I decided to us the old wipes case I had and put it all in there: thermometer, baby lotion, warm hat, comb, socks, sunglasses, Aquaphor, and baby kisses lip and cheek. Hope you enjoyed seeing what's in my diaper bag. Loves.

Organize It

Hello my wonderful readers. So I am a person who makes lists like a crazy person and loves to stay organized about everything. Well with a baby I don't always have my phone because it gets tossed to the bottom of my bag or whatever and I don't always have a notebook to write stuff down. So I decided I really needed an organizer of some sort and the ones you buy at the store are so very expensive after you get all the inserts and what not and then after a year some of them you just throw out, I decided to make one and share it with you. I decided making one is a good way to get exactly the sections i want and i can make it pretty too. I started out with a $3 mini binder from target and $5 big scrapbook pad from Michael's that I will use for scrapbooking too or other projects.

Above is my inside cover and first divider for my calendar. Below is the Moms groups verse for the semester.

Above is a calendar I made September 2015 - August 2016. Below is the first pocket divider I made for my To Do lists section.

Above is my divider for notes section, like prayer requests and what not. Below is my pocket divider for my shopping lists section.

Above is a pocket divider for my section that I write down dinner ideas and stuff my baby is eating and not liking since she is trying new foods all the time. Below is the section I have all my username is passwords to pay my bills written down in because I never remember them all.

All of the section besides the first with the calendar and the last password section, which has this paper in it shown above, have notebook plain paper in them. I am loving this!!! It is helping me so much as I plan my daughters first birthday, and all the play dates ahead this fall and family events coming up. Hope you like it and would love to know what is in your planner or organizer? Loves.

Packing for Coronado

Hello my wonderful readers. I thought since we just went on a trip for a weekend you might want to see what I wore and packed. We flew there so we decided we were going to only check one bag. I am an overpacker, I will admit that all the time, so this time I couldn't and I didn't know if I could survive with having to share one suitcase with my husband. I was very proud that we both packed into one suitcase and were not even close to it being too heavy and we also never opened the expansion on the suitcase. We also decided afterwards that we could have gotten away with less than we took too haha.
This is what I wore to the airport on the flight to Coronado. I didn't want my hat to get smashed in the suitcase so I wore it on the plane, I also wore my lace up vans and my jeans with a black short sleeve light top and my light grey sweater. Also I only wore my watch because I didn't want to take a bunch of stuff off in security in the airport.
Next day we did some walking around, I wore my hat, a light cotton skirt, black tank and ended up wearing my vans instead of these sandals. I wore my silver necklace.
That same day we went to the pool later and I wore my black tank over my swimsuit with my running shorts and hat and sandals.
Later that evening we went on a dinner cruise, I wore my coral dress with nude heels, grey sweater, and gold jewelry.
The next day we went on a walking beer and food tour so I wore shorts with a purple 3/4 sleeve length shirt and vans, with my pearls.
On the way home on the plane I wore the same thing I wore going there but with a white tank instead.
It all fit into one half of the suitcase. Also I brought my blow dryer and curling iron and some pjs along with my intimates.
I bought this for $17 at Target on the clearance rack the day before we left and I loved it. It was my carry on and it goes crossbody so I took it with me where we went.
In my carry on I took my perfume, chapstick, gum, contact solution and case, my glasses, our flight and hotel info, our Kindle, in the little dark blue pouch is all of our electronic cords and the camera and also my jewelry was all in the gold pouch below.

I got this hanging toiletries bag from Target also for our trip and took pretty much the basic stuff you would take to go overnight for a weekend, nothing out of the ordinary. Also I had my hairbrush in the suitcase. I wore everything I took, I however did not need to bring heels I could have gotten away with my sandals on the dinner cruise and I never used my curling iron. Hope you enjoyed seeing my light pack for once haha. Loves.

Our Anniversary Trip Part 1

Hello my wonderful readers. We just celebrated our second anniversary in Coronado, California. In about April, I think, Aaron's company decided that they were going to do a company trip for the employees and their spouses, well we found out this trip they were planning just happened to fall on our anniversary. We didn't really do anything for our first anniversary because I was pretty pregnant and not really wanting to go anywhere so we knew we wanted to go away for the weekend for our second so this was the perfect opportunity. Not that we are cheap, I kind of am haha, but the company was paying for everything so we were going. So I have pictures on my phone and camera and Aaron has them on his phone so to get them all together is going to take a bit so this will be a two part post, twice the fun. These are just the pictures I took on my phone, it isn't that many because I used the camera a lot but it will give you a little peek to the wonderfulness of Coronado!!!

These are all from our balcony of our room. Amazing right!!! We had an amazing time and I can't wait to share more beautiful pictures and details in another post to come very soon!! Loves.

Bouncing Baby - 10 Month Update

Hello my wonderful readers. I can not possibly believe that my little baby is going to be a year old in two months. It just blows my mind! Penelope is onto a new stage in life and it is so exciting to watch her discover everything for the first time. She is a bit sassy and knows how get to daddy already with what she wants. She is still crawling at full speed and pulling herself up but every once in awhile she lets go of the the table and stands freely for about a couple seconds before she sits down, so I don't think that walking is too far off. She has decided in the past month she no longer wants to eat pureed baby food and refuses to eat from a spoon. So we have had to figure out what to feed her that she can eat herself with her hands. We have tried many things that she eats some and does ok with:
avocados (very messy)
bananas (very messy)
apples in slices
pears (she wasn't too fond of but neither am I)
baby bel cheese cubed up (she loved this)
ritz crackers
goldfish crackers
yogurt melts
steamed carrot cut up small
cheerios
spiral pasta
shredded chicken

Pretty much anything she can feed herself that is soft enough. We have had fun with it but are still trying more things. She has also had apple juice cut with water and loves it from a different type of bottle and sippy cup.
The past couple weeks she has had her own room so she has been sleeping through the night no problems at all. We have just started naps in the crib so we are doing that transition right now. She is just changing so fast I can't keep up.
Our friends from Australia came to visit a couple weeks ago and brought her this kangaroo and some books and she loves them.

But we just love her so much and can't imagine not having her and talking about when we might want to have another one. Loves.
