Better Late than Never- Memorial Day!

Hello my amazing readers! So this post is really late since it is the end of July and the pictures are from our Memorial Day BBQ at my parents house at the end of May. But I wanted to share them with you anyways. We had a good time at my parents visiting with family and just enjoying everything. My dad BBQ'ed of course as he always does, which was of course delicious. Here are some of the pictures from that day.

Above is my Aunt and my mom (on the far right), they are twins if you can't tell, with my niece. Below is me and my husband Aaron.

Above is a decent shot of everyone sitting around the table after food talking up a storm as always. Below is Aaron looking for a place he wants to go camping this summer before baby arrives.

And last but for sure not least here is my niece Sophia trying to share her food with me as I take her picture. Hope you enjoyed this little post about the great Memorial Day we had this year, even though it was a little late. Loves.

Bouncing Baby #11 - Weeks 23 & 24

Hello my wonderful readers! Week 23 was a good week for the most part. I didn't have any problems besides being annoyed with my husband over a few things. It ended with helping my aunt and uncle move, well I moved pillows and blankets and made sure everyone had water haha. I was still very exhausted after the day of moving and my husband who moved a lot of the stuff was extremely exhausted. Anyways I mentioned to my manager that I might possibly not come back after I have the baby and her response was to tell everyone of the managers and now they all bother me and ask me why I'm not coming back and that I should. I don't know if I want to, I get crap for hours and I am really just plain miserable at that job, I have been since I transferred there. I will keep you posted on that. Week 24 started off ok, just picking up and cleaning the house. Got some new neighbors that hopefully don't smoke or aren't too noisy. Other than all that my mom came to a doctors appointment with me and Aaron to hear the baby's heartbeat and spend the day visiting with me, and a much needed pedicure. All my eating has been fine no sickness and nothing else that has been bothering me besides getting annoyed really easy with some people. Baby Penelope is kicking like crazy and very very active it feels like, mostly in the mornings.
This is me at 24 weeks 2 days. Getting rounder every week. Loves.

Pregnancy and Friends

Hello my wonderful readers! I am 25 years old and expecting my first child with my husband of 10 months, just in case you this is the first post your reading of my blog. Ever since I got pregnant and told my friends, some have been supportive and some have said they are being supportive when they come across as being rude about pregnancy. The friends that are being supportive, majority are married with children. The friends that just say they are being supportive are married or single but do not have any children. Those people that are saying they are supportive have been joking that pregnancy is a disease and sending me pictures of alcohol saying "cheers!". I believe that all children are a gift from God, not anything close to a disease! I'm sorry if you reading this turns you off to my blog but that is how I feel about it and it has really hurt me to hear those things from people that call themselves my friends. I pray everyday that God gives me the strength to not lose it, in all my pregnancy hormones, with them.  It is hurtful to pretty much say I have a disease. I am starting to just say if you can't support me in this wonderful step in my life than you don't deserve to even be in my life at all. I believe friends should be supportive of you especially in the big milestones in your life. I did confront one friend about this "disease" comment and was told that people joke because women are pressured to get married and have children at our age. I don't believe that honestly, I was not pressured to get married, I WANTED to. I was not pressured at all to have children, I WANTED to have one. Women our age are not really pressured, I believe, at this age to do either, they are actually getting married and having children later in life, at least the planned pregnancies. As for the sending me pictures of alcohol and saying "cheers!", I think it is rude and not being a very thoughtful friend, I would never send a pregnant friend a picture of alcohol, pretty much rubbing it in their face. I just find it rude in general. Thank you my wonderful readers for listening to my rant in a way but really just how I feel on the topic and how others feel. Loves.

Review It - Bathbomb from Lush Cosmetics

Hello my wonderful readers! I thought I would do a little something different today and give you a review it post since I haven't done one in awhile and when I have posted it has all been about baby. Aaron and I  were at the mall looking for something for our gender reveal idea when I came across the Lush Cosmetics store. I have never been in one but have always wanted to because I have watch, read and listen to so many good reviews, especially about their bath bombs. So why not try one! I got the very most basic one because I didn't know how it would react to my pregnant skin, I figured they were most likely pretty safe for pregnant people because they are all handmade organic all natural like. I got their Butterball Bath Bomb, it was amazing! Here is a link to it  http://www.lushusa.com/Butterball/00012,en_US,pd.html#start=3 . I would recommend this to anyone and it made me want to go back and try them all. I was so relaxed, which I needed badly with being pregnant. It helped my dry skin quite a bit right away I could tell because since being pregnant I have had such dry skin. Overall it was awesome and I will get it again. I feel so relaxed and ready to go to bed already haha.
Hope you go try one or more than one, let me know which you recommend. Loves.
