Hello my wonderful readers. I was just thinking, there is something missing from my day....O man it's the 31 day challenge to bring you a bible verse about marriage each day. So here is day thirteen.
Day 13 -
"Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers."
-- 1 Peter 3:7
So this verse is one that has some hard things in it for women to handle at times. We are called the "weaker" partner I believe because the man is the head of the household no matter what. What I like about this verse is the beginning because it tells husbands to be just as considerate and treat your wives and submit to them in the same ways they are doing to you. Also it tells the husband to treat his wife with respect and all will be well, if you treat her with respect and respect her qualities, even if they get on your nerves at times, she will respect you and yours as well. Loves.
