Wednesday Recipe - Sloppy Joe Turnovers

Hello my hungry readers! Today's recipe is a favorite of my husbands and would be good for a family meal. Today's recipe is Sloppy Joe Turnovers that are so good and really not super sloppy haha. I have done a sloppy joes recipe before but this one is a bit different and also it is in turnover form.
Ingredients: 1lb of ground beef, 1/4 cup of chopped onion, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1-12oz can of refrigerated flaky biscuits, 2 tablespoons butter, melted (optional
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
2. cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet until the ground beef is browned, drain the grease.
3. return the ground beef mixture to the skillet and stir in ketchup, sour cream, salt and garlic powder

4. pat or roll each biscuit into a 4 inch square on a lightly floured surface and arrange them on a ungreased baking sheet
5. spoon 1/4 cup of the ground beef mixture in the center of each square.

6. fold over the corner of each square to form a triangle

7. seal the edges with a fork and cut three 1/2 inch slits in the top of each turnover

8. bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes
9. brush with melted butter, optional

Hope you all enjoy these as much as we do, they are so delicious! Loves.
