All Settled In

Hello my wonderful readers. Thank you for hanging on with me over the past couple weeks with brief posts due to the moving going on. I'll tell you, you never know how much stuff you have until you have to pack it all up and move it all. I don't know if it was good or bad that we stayed in the same apartment complex because we just used a hand truck and ourselves to carry everything across the complex. One of the good things is that since we are in a bigger place we no longer require a storage unit down the street. This past weekend we hung everything on the walls and unpacked the last box, which I think is amazing to be all unpacked in one week. Penelope is doing good having her own room, she has pretty much slept through the night no problems since we moved in (look for more detail in my 10 month update). I think we are just all much happier because we have more room. It's amazing what a little more room can do. Aaron and I can go in our room at night and watch something together on the kindle or just talk about our day together without having to creep in and hope we don't wake the baby getting into bed. The downside to this apartment was that we are now downstairs with upstairs neighbors and we have had some electrical outlets not working so they are going to be fixed hopefully today. I am tired though from quickly getting unpacked and trying to get everyone back into the schedule of things. The moving process took three days, that's how long the apartment complex gave us to transfer all of our stuff and clean the apartment we were leaving. So Friday Aaron took the hand truck and pretty much moved everything we possibly could move alone without help while I watched the baby and dog and all that. Saturday my parents and brother came and helped clear out our storage unit and move everything else, big things like the bed and crib etc. Saturday afternoon we started cleaning the small apartment. Sunday we cleaned like we have never cleaned before the small apartment, it was amazingly clean, cleaner than when we moved in for sure and then we said goodbye and dropped the keys in the office. I did cry a little because that is where my water broke and we brought Penelope home there and that is really the only home she has known so far, but onto bigger things and happier things. We love the new place is what this post is about, we are happier for sure! Loves.
