What's Been Happening With Us

Hello my wonderful readers. I want to say sorry for not being as consistent as I would like to be in blogging but life has just been busy happening. We have just been getting by day by day with 3 kids 2 and under. Aaron has been working hard and a lot at his new job, I am so thankful for such a wonderful husband.
We scored this jumper (one on the left) on Amazon prime day (one of the many things we were able to score) so now we have two and they love it. Also me drinking my coffee which is a must every morning in my LuLaRoe leggings that are also a must chasing these three.
Penelope just loves her dresses, she is telling me to take a picture and send it to her daddy of her pretty dress after we got dressed in the morning.
Andrew is just so happy to be here always. He loves his big sister, any attention from her is his favorite.
Juliet is our baby with the most personality I think.
We also just went to the state fair with some family and had some fun, Penelope loved the petting zoo. It was so hot we had to leave before we saw everything. Other than that we are just going day by day chasing babies around since all three are mobile now. Hopefully I can sit down and do some brainstorming on what to blog about soon and get some posts up. Lots of love to you all.

Month 7 With Twins

Hello my wonderful readers. I cannot believe these twinnies are 7 months old! The time is going by so fast its crazy! I'm starting to think of what to do for their first birthday, its all so exciting! You know I will try to do posts about getting ready for that.

Diaper Size:
Andrew - in size 2 disposables but wearing cloth all the time except occasionally at night a disposable
Juliet - just went up to size 2 disposables, wears cloth all day and wears a disposable with a cloth diaper cover over it at night (this is what works for us that we already had on hand so we have stuck with it for about 5 months now)
Both are still on the first rise snap on their cloth diapers, I might have to split the diapers soon because Andrew may need to move to the next snap soon.

Clothing Size: always depends on the brand and how it fits over a cloth diaper
Andrew -  6 and 6-9 month clothes
Juliet - 3-6 and 6 month clothes

Sleeping:
Andrew - Sleeping through the night in his crib in the kids room with his big sister
Juliet - Sleeping through the night (most nights) in the pack n play in our room still. We tried one night in her crib in the kids room and she was up all night crying, we are going to try again soon. She will not sleep on the pack n play mattress which is flat as a board, thankfully since we have mini cribs for them her crib mattress fits perfect in the pack n play so she does sleep on that so hopefully it will be a little easier to transition soon.
Both take their morning nap in their crib in the kids room together, their afternoon nap is in our room or in the swing at the moment because of big sister being in there it's crazy.

Feeding:
Andrew- Eating 5oz of formula every 2 hours and 7oz in a night time bottle. Eating purees at dinner time from a spoon.
Juliet - Eating 4oz of formula every 2 hours and 7oz in a night time bottle. Eating purees at dinner time from a spoon very good.

Routine: We are still on the same schedule as before.

Firsts: First Overnight Trip & First Father's Day, First 4th of July & First Picnic (see other posts about all of these)

Movements: They are both crawling. They both roll really well to get to where they want to go also.

Big sister loves her little siblings so much, she cuddles them and covers them up all the time and reads to them while they eat.

I have to say they are so much more happy than Penelope was when she was a baby, they are pretty smiley majority of the time.

This bouncer that used to be Penelope has been a lifesaver and they love it. Andrew has also turned into quite the thumb sucker when he is sleepy.

This is Juliet's very serious look, we laugh every time she does it haha.

Here I am reading them a story before bed because they didn't fall asleep for once while eating their bottle.
Hope you enjoyed this update on them. Lots of Love to you and yours!

Fourth of July 2017

Hello my wonderful readers. Sorry for the crazy posting schedule, I have just been doing life as a mom. We had an eventful and wonderful 4th of July as a family. We started the day figuring out what we had to wear that was red, white and blue and we all came up with something, below is little Miss Penelope in her cute flag dress with tutu she loved wearing. Right before we left for our picnic at Apple Hill, Penelope decided to climb up on the dining room chair when I turned my back and fell down and hit the high chair arm and blacked her eye. She is just fine just looks really bad but we put ice on it and made sure she was ok before we decided to go to the picnic.

Here is daddy with Juliet and my view of our picnic. It was wonderful weather in the shade.

Here are the twins in their red, white and blue. Below is the best picture I could get of the 3 of them haha 2 out of 3 looking is pretty good I guess.

Boa Vista Orchards is one of our favorite places at Apple Hill they have this neat Instagram thing hanging up to take pictures.
Me and my baby boy. Daddy with Penelope and apple donuts are our favorite thing to get there.

When it got to dusk we lit off the one firework we bought and a couple sparklers just with Penelope after we put the babies down for bed, baby monitors are amazing!
Hope you had a wonderful and safe 4th of July.

Father's Day 2016

Hello my wonderful readers. I am finally getting to writing about Father's Day. My computer has been down and we have been so busy with car troubles and life in general. For Father's Day we went to my parents house to have a BBQ and celebrate all the fathers in my family. It was also the first time we took the twins somewhere overnight. It was a wonderful day, extremely hot, but wonderful. The first overnight with the twins was good for them but Penelope had a really hard night and that made it worse on us. So we always laugh because when we travel overnight anywhere we take a billion bags, this time was no different haha. My diaper bag was just that, a bag full of diapers and wipes and nothing else. Everyone had a bag plus a bouncer chair and pack n play (since my mom has one already at her house).
I love my Ju Ju Be bags so much, the Super Be is one of the best bags ever, I need one more so we each have one.

The day before we went to my parents and we went swimming before bedtime.

Father's Day I made sure to get a picture with all the kids with daddy at some point.

Penelope loves to swim so much!
Juliet couldn't handle the heat haha.
My brother with Andrew just hanging out in front of the mister.
The twins both have onesies on that say my 1st Father's Day.
If this last picture doesn't make you smile I don't know what will, she is such a cheesier! Hope your Father's Day was wonderful with the fathers in your life. Lots of Love.

Month 6 with Twins

Hello my wonderful readers. Yesterday the twins turned 6 months old!! Wow we are half way through the first year I cannot believe it! Well they went to the doctor and he said that they are both perfect and growing wonderfully. Andrew is 16 lbs 6 oz and 26.5" tall. Juliet is 13 lbs 3 oz and 25" tall. They are just cute as can be.
Clothing Size: Juliet is in her 3 month and 3-6 month clothes mostly. Andrew is in 3-6 month a little and 6 month clothes.
Sleeping: They are both still in their own pack n plays in our room sleeping from 7p-5a. Juliet has been waking every so many day in the night to eat and go back to sleep. We are thinking soon we will try to transition them to the kids room from ours.
Feeding: They are starting solids now so they have had rice cereal, green beans, sweet potatoes and carrots. They have done wonderful eating from spoons and keeping food down. They are still on formula Andrew takes 31 oz a day (5 oz every 2 hours and night bottle is 6 oz) and Juliet takes 24 oz a day (4 oz every 2 hours and night time bottle is 5 oz).
Routine: We are now on a more consistent routine give or take sometimes since Aaron went back to work I have tried so hard to get them on a routine for my own sanity.
Firsts: First Mother's Day, First Mommy's birthday, First dip in the pool, First trip to the zoo.
Movements: They are rolling all over the place and starting the first signs of crawling (more Juliet).
Our first mother's day, he was the only one I managed to get a picture with.
Daddy was so tired this day and big sister thinks it's funny when you pile stuff on top of a sleeping daddy.
They are both just so smiley for the most part it's hard to get upset. We are playing more in the bouncer now.
They are starting to recognize each other more now. Also their big sister is wanting to play and help with them more now too.
Me and my crew.
Their first pool dip.
Big sister loves her little sister so much she is always hugging them. It's a work out to change their diapers when they are all laying together because this happens.
They have also started kind of fighting over toys.
I hope you enjoyed our 6 month update! They are amazing little ones and will do great things I know. Lots of Love.
