Month 9 with Twins

Hello my wonderful readers. Usually I post the day they turn whatever months but we have been busy haha, that's life right? Well these two boogers are 9 months old! They are all over the place and getting cuter everyday!  Andrew is now 18 pounds 15oz,  27.75 inches and Juliet is 14 pounds 14oz,   26.5 inches.
Diaper Size: Both are still in their cloth diapers 95% of the time set on the first rise snap still. For disposables which we use when we are out of the house and at night Andrew is in size 3 and Juliet is finishing our size 2 stash and then she will be in size 3 as well.
Clothing size: Andrew is wearing his 6 month clothes (possibly not for much longer) and 6-9 month clothes, and some 9 month clothes. Juliet is still wearing a few 3-6 month things, mostly 6 month clothes.
Sleeping: Both still take 2 naps a day for 1-2 hours one in the morning and one in the afternoon. They are still sleeping all night in their cribs in the same room as big sister.
Feeding: They are both most of the time eating every 2.5-3 hours 5oz each of formula. They also have purees of all kinds twice a day so far, breakfast and dinner.
Routine: Our routine has stayed the same for awhile now.
Firsts: The only first things that we did this last month really was their first wedding outside the womb.
Movements: They are crawling at full speed now, both are pulling themselves up on everything (both cribs have been lowered to the lowest setting), even climbing at times, both sit up no problem by themselves now. Juliet has taken a couple steps once behind the pushing lion toy we have, also she can kind of walk along the couch holding onto it.
Everyone loves to be in the chair when mommy sits down for a second haha.
 They are so smiley.
Here is a prime example of the climbing, don't worry Aaron is sitting right outside the picture.
These two are up to no good always haha.
We celebrated 37 weeks outside of mommy, the same as the 37 weeks they were inside me.
Sitting up all the time now and laying in the boppy pillows to eat.
Little Mr. chunky thighs standing up.
 Just relaxing with daddy.
 Climbing on me always.
Andrew got to wear his daddy's baby clothes.
So proud of themselves standing in the crib.
Their first wedding outside the womb was their uncle and aunt's.
We have only ever taken one picture together as a family of 5, the day we came home from the hospital and it was a terrible one, so this one will be framed on the wall.
Everyone standing together playing nice for a second.
I hope you enjoyed the update on these two I can't believe how fast 9 months has gone by. I need to get a move on on their first birthday. Lots of love always.

Our trip to Lake Tahoe

Hello my wonderful readers. A few weeks ago we ended our summer with a trip to Lake Tahoe. The kids had lots of fun and it was a really nice day. No one got sunburned and we didn't bring too much sand home, win win! I thought I would share some of the pictures from our trip.
Penelope didn't want to even go in the water but had a blast just digging in the sand for a couple of hours.
Little brother wanted to play too but we stayed out of the sand due to them putting everything in their mouths right now haha.
 So cute!!
 My sexy hubby!
The bumbo chairs were perfect for this outing! They sat in them out of the sun and watched sister play while they played with the bag of toys I brought for them. Every so often I pulled them out.

We took a picnic lunch because Penelope loves picnics!

Daddy did put each of the baby's feet in the water and they liked it.
Overall we had a wonderful time. Our little set up was great and kept us out of the sun for the most part. Lots of Love to you and yours.

What we take to the Beach

Hello my wonderful readers! I hope your summers are wrapping up wonderfully. We kind of ended our summer with a trip the lake. I thought I would share what we brought with us with 3 kids under 3. I tried to pack as minimal as I could because it's hard to take 3 kids and a whole bunch of stuff from a car to the beach. I used 2 of my Ju-Ju-Be Super Be bags.
What I packed in the first Super Be was: 2 burp cloths, hats for all, formula for babies and bottles were thrown in later in a fuel cell, sunscreen, cover up for P and swim diaper for P, sandals for P, 2 receiving blankets, large wet bag, plenty of wipes, toys for all in a quick, diapers for all in a quick, baby powder, tissues, chap stick, glasses wipes, first aid kit, comb, insurance cards in a coin purse and the Kindle for P to watch a movie on the way there.
This first bag is in Cobalt blossoms. The second one below is the Admiral print, one of my favorites.
In the second Super Be I packed my water bottle, the tent, 5 towels, and Penelope's puddle jumper.
I got a $1 mesh laundry bag at the dollar store with some beach toys. We put the two bumbo chairs and the sand toys in the mesh bag so they could be shook out easy after we were done. We also took our picnic basket with lunch and snacks and lots and lots of water for everyone.
I thought I did really well not over packing we only had to make two trips to get everything and everyone to the beach. Lots of love.

Month 8 with Twins

Hello my wonderful readers. The twins are 8 months old if you can believe that! We spent their 8 month birthday a the lake having so much fun.

Diaper size: both are in their cloth diapers 95% of the time still on the first rise setting, both are still fitting in size 2 disposables but size 3 overnight diapers.
Clothing size: Andrew is in size 6 month and 6-9 month clothes, Juliet is in a few 3-6 month clothes but mostly 6 month clothes.
Sleeping: They are both sleeping through the night in their cribs in the other room. We have NO kids in our room!!
Feeding: Andrew is eating 5oz every 2 hours, Juliet is eating 4 oz of formula every 2 hours, both eat 7oz before bed, both are eating purees for breakfast and dinner now. We did try puffs for the first time and Juliet wasn't too keen on it but Andrew liked them.
Routine: We are on the same routine, getting better at it each day.
Firsts: First State Fair and First trip to the Lake (future post)
Movements: Both can sit for a good amount of time if put in the sitting position, Juliet can pull herself up into the sitting position just about, both are pulling up on things to their knees and sometimes to standing very wobbly.

I cannot believe how fast these 8 months went by! Four more months until we hit a year, I better get going on a birthday party! Lots of Love to you and yours.

What's Been Happening With Us

Hello my wonderful readers. I want to say sorry for not being as consistent as I would like to be in blogging but life has just been busy happening. We have just been getting by day by day with 3 kids 2 and under. Aaron has been working hard and a lot at his new job, I am so thankful for such a wonderful husband.
We scored this jumper (one on the left) on Amazon prime day (one of the many things we were able to score) so now we have two and they love it. Also me drinking my coffee which is a must every morning in my LuLaRoe leggings that are also a must chasing these three.
Penelope just loves her dresses, she is telling me to take a picture and send it to her daddy of her pretty dress after we got dressed in the morning.
Andrew is just so happy to be here always. He loves his big sister, any attention from her is his favorite.
Juliet is our baby with the most personality I think.
We also just went to the state fair with some family and had some fun, Penelope loved the petting zoo. It was so hot we had to leave before we saw everything. Other than that we are just going day by day chasing babies around since all three are mobile now. Hopefully I can sit down and do some brainstorming on what to blog about soon and get some posts up. Lots of love to you all.

Month 7 With Twins

Hello my wonderful readers. I cannot believe these twinnies are 7 months old! The time is going by so fast its crazy! I'm starting to think of what to do for their first birthday, its all so exciting! You know I will try to do posts about getting ready for that.

Diaper Size:
Andrew - in size 2 disposables but wearing cloth all the time except occasionally at night a disposable
Juliet - just went up to size 2 disposables, wears cloth all day and wears a disposable with a cloth diaper cover over it at night (this is what works for us that we already had on hand so we have stuck with it for about 5 months now)
Both are still on the first rise snap on their cloth diapers, I might have to split the diapers soon because Andrew may need to move to the next snap soon.

Clothing Size: always depends on the brand and how it fits over a cloth diaper
Andrew -  6 and 6-9 month clothes
Juliet - 3-6 and 6 month clothes

Sleeping:
Andrew - Sleeping through the night in his crib in the kids room with his big sister
Juliet - Sleeping through the night (most nights) in the pack n play in our room still. We tried one night in her crib in the kids room and she was up all night crying, we are going to try again soon. She will not sleep on the pack n play mattress which is flat as a board, thankfully since we have mini cribs for them her crib mattress fits perfect in the pack n play so she does sleep on that so hopefully it will be a little easier to transition soon.
Both take their morning nap in their crib in the kids room together, their afternoon nap is in our room or in the swing at the moment because of big sister being in there it's crazy.

Feeding:
Andrew- Eating 5oz of formula every 2 hours and 7oz in a night time bottle. Eating purees at dinner time from a spoon.
Juliet - Eating 4oz of formula every 2 hours and 7oz in a night time bottle. Eating purees at dinner time from a spoon very good.

Routine: We are still on the same schedule as before.

Firsts: First Overnight Trip & First Father's Day, First 4th of July & First Picnic (see other posts about all of these)

Movements: They are both crawling. They both roll really well to get to where they want to go also.

Big sister loves her little siblings so much, she cuddles them and covers them up all the time and reads to them while they eat.

I have to say they are so much more happy than Penelope was when she was a baby, they are pretty smiley majority of the time.

This bouncer that used to be Penelope has been a lifesaver and they love it. Andrew has also turned into quite the thumb sucker when he is sleepy.

This is Juliet's very serious look, we laugh every time she does it haha.

Here I am reading them a story before bed because they didn't fall asleep for once while eating their bottle.
Hope you enjoyed this update on them. Lots of Love to you and yours!
