Father's Day 2016

Hello my wonderful readers. I am finally getting to writing about Father's Day. My computer has been down and we have been so busy with car troubles and life in general. For Father's Day we went to my parents house to have a BBQ and celebrate all the fathers in my family. It was also the first time we took the twins somewhere overnight. It was a wonderful day, extremely hot, but wonderful. The first overnight with the twins was good for them but Penelope had a really hard night and that made it worse on us. So we always laugh because when we travel overnight anywhere we take a billion bags, this time was no different haha. My diaper bag was just that, a bag full of diapers and wipes and nothing else. Everyone had a bag plus a bouncer chair and pack n play (since my mom has one already at her house).
I love my Ju Ju Be bags so much, the Super Be is one of the best bags ever, I need one more so we each have one.

The day before we went to my parents and we went swimming before bedtime.

Father's Day I made sure to get a picture with all the kids with daddy at some point.

Penelope loves to swim so much!
Juliet couldn't handle the heat haha.
My brother with Andrew just hanging out in front of the mister.
The twins both have onesies on that say my 1st Father's Day.
If this last picture doesn't make you smile I don't know what will, she is such a cheesier! Hope your Father's Day was wonderful with the fathers in your life. Lots of Love.

Month 6 with Twins

Hello my wonderful readers. Yesterday the twins turned 6 months old!! Wow we are half way through the first year I cannot believe it! Well they went to the doctor and he said that they are both perfect and growing wonderfully. Andrew is 16 lbs 6 oz and 26.5" tall. Juliet is 13 lbs 3 oz and 25" tall. They are just cute as can be.
Clothing Size: Juliet is in her 3 month and 3-6 month clothes mostly. Andrew is in 3-6 month a little and 6 month clothes.
Sleeping: They are both still in their own pack n plays in our room sleeping from 7p-5a. Juliet has been waking every so many day in the night to eat and go back to sleep. We are thinking soon we will try to transition them to the kids room from ours.
Feeding: They are starting solids now so they have had rice cereal, green beans, sweet potatoes and carrots. They have done wonderful eating from spoons and keeping food down. They are still on formula Andrew takes 31 oz a day (5 oz every 2 hours and night bottle is 6 oz) and Juliet takes 24 oz a day (4 oz every 2 hours and night time bottle is 5 oz).
Routine: We are now on a more consistent routine give or take sometimes since Aaron went back to work I have tried so hard to get them on a routine for my own sanity.
Firsts: First Mother's Day, First Mommy's birthday, First dip in the pool, First trip to the zoo.
Movements: They are rolling all over the place and starting the first signs of crawling (more Juliet).
Our first mother's day, he was the only one I managed to get a picture with.
Daddy was so tired this day and big sister thinks it's funny when you pile stuff on top of a sleeping daddy.
They are both just so smiley for the most part it's hard to get upset. We are playing more in the bouncer now.
They are starting to recognize each other more now. Also their big sister is wanting to play and help with them more now too.
Me and my crew.
Their first pool dip.
Big sister loves her little sister so much she is always hugging them. It's a work out to change their diapers when they are all laying together because this happens.
They have also started kind of fighting over toys.
I hope you enjoyed our 6 month update! They are amazing little ones and will do great things I know. Lots of Love.

Twins First Trip to the Zoo

Hello my wonderful readers. Sorry for no post last week I have just been being mommy. Memorial day weekend we decided to go to the local zoo. It was the twins first time and Penelope hadn't been since she was about 2 months old. They have bigger animals at this zoo so she loved it. Here are some pictures from our visit.

Hope you enjoyed some pictures from our fun day. Loves to you all!

Bouncing Kids - Daily Routine

Hello my wonderful readers. So I wanted to share our daily routine with you guys today. Now I do say this first, kids will be kids, so this is the ideal routine and day in our home, which doesn't always happen. Some days we are all messed up and watch too much tv or everyone goes down for a nap whether they want to or not to keep mommy sane haha. With the twins being babies also it can change some days with them slightly due to growth spurts.

6a-7a: Everyone is usually awake, if Penelope is not up I will let her sleep until 8a; P gets milk and a couple episodes of a show; babies have a bottle then go back to sleep usually

8a : Breakfast for all; Penelope has her breakfast at the table while I change and feed the twins (I will eat somewhere around this time)

9a: Everyone is changed and dressed by this time. Play time for all on the floor or coloring etc.

10a: Babies eat then go lay down; P gets morning toddler vitamin drink and a snack and one show (it is the only thing that will keep her still enough to not dump drink all over my carpets)

12p: Babies eat; P gets lunch at the table; I eat sometime around here

We play during this time before nap

2p: Babies eat; Everyone then goes down for a nap

4p: Babies eat; P gets up and has milk and a snack

6p-7p: Everyone has a bath, milk and story then off to bed

After everyone is in bed we hang out and watch a show or two and hope they all stay asleep. Hope this is interesting to someone. Lots of Love.

Month 5 With Twins

Hello my wonderful readers. I cannot believe that these two are almost to the half way mark of their first year! Those 5 months went by so fast!
Clothing size: Both are still in 3 month clothes but Andrew is heading into his 6 month clothes.
Sleeping: They had their little 4 month sleep regression and now are back to sleeping through the night in their own beds still in our room. Juliet has been moved from a bassinet to a pack n play. Both are tummy sleepers now.
Feeding: They are both eating 5 oz every 2 hours still and some rice cereal at dinner time.
Routine: Aaron has been home a lot more lately so the routine has been thrown a little off but we are starting to get back on track. Babies kind of make their own schedule some days.
Firsts: First Easter (see post), First UCD Picnic Day (see post), they both are turning over front to back and back to front, both had their first food which was rice cereal, and both giggled out loud for the first time which was the most adorable thing ever.
Here are some of favorite pictures from the last month:
Here with big sister ready to watch Beauty and Beast.
First Picnic Day with daddy!
Andrew is now just big enough to fit in the bouncer.
Perfect little smile from Juliet. Both are so happy most of the time.
Andrew's first food.

Juliet's first food.
Daddy reading to all of them, they all 3 love books!
Big sister loves her little brother and he follows her with his eyes all the time.
The 3 best friends that anyone could have.
I got these outfits before they were born because Aaron loves TMNT. They held hands without prompting this time which I thought was so loving. Hope you enjoyed our update. Lots of Love.

UC Davis Picnic Day 2017

Hello my wonderful readers. We have made a little family tradition out of going to UC Davis Picnic Day every year. This year was the twins first and I think it was a wonderful family day. My husband is an alumni of the college. We had so much fun. Hope you enjoy looking at some of our day.
 Daddy and his little man.
All of us having our picnic on picnic day.
She wasn't too into the parade because she had to get up early that day and was grouchy.
Two years ago we took a picture of the 3 of us in the same place.
She loved the seeing all the animals, I think it was her favorite part.
Stopping for a food break.
The best picture that was taken all day was this one! Daddy and all his babies representing his alma mater. Hope you enjoyed this glimpse at our wonderful family day. Lots of Love.
