Halloween 2015

Hello my wonderful readers. So I know it's mid November but I thought I would share a few pictures of Halloween this year. We carved our pumpkins this year which was fun, last year since Penelope came early we didn't get around to carving the pumpkins we bought. We got dressed up twice this year, once for a party a friend was having and then again on Halloween to go visit some other friends having a little get together in their driveway for trick or treaters. Aaron and I were a biker couple since we had everything already since we used to ride a motorcycle and Penelope was a cute little strawberry.

Hope you loved our little strawberry as much as we have. Loves.

Bouncing Baby - 1 Year Update!

Hello my wonderful readers. Penelope turned one on October 27th and it was an emotional day for me because she is my baby girl and I want her to be small forever haha. She went to the doctor about a week later and weighed in at 22 Lbs and 29.5 inches tall. She did so good at the doctor for getting 7 shots that day. She growing so fast and average in all areas, healthy little girl.

Favorite Foods: she really will eat anything at this point but not a fan of carrots.
Favorite Toys: her new clock and see and say she got for her birthday
Favorite Books: Where is the Green Sheep? and Paddington Bear All Day
Favorite Shows: Daniel Tiger and Blues Clues

She is working on going to a sippy cup from a bottle. We are down to one bottle a day which is right before bed, which might take awhile to get away from her. That's ok though because she has done so well with all the other bottles just going away and being on sippy cup for the other two feedings of the day. With the bottles went the formula for the other two feedings of the day. She has whole milk in the morning and one mid day in a sippy cup, maybe some juice or water in the afternoon and a bottle with formula at night. We decided to keep the night time bottle until we have used up all of our formula since it is quite expensive. Other than that she is transitioning to food and all other things just fine. She has taken 2-3 steps here and there unassisted, she can free stand alone and walk holding one of our hands or furniture like a pro. Walking full on I know is not far from now. Hope you enjoyed the update on our little growing girl. Loves.

Penelope's Party - Pictures

Hello my wonderful readers. Penelope's birthday party, as you have seen a couple posts, was awesome. We were blessed by the people that came and she will not need clothes until her third birthday at least haha. We had a lot of fun so I thought I would share just a few photos with you from the day.

With daddy above and with both of us below.

 Everyone is hanging out.

 Present time.

Above my mother in law made this beautiful quilt with Paddington Bear on it.
Above is the only picture we got with the candle anywhere in it haha.

Cake time, she really didn't make a whole big mess.

Above is my mom, grandma, me and Penelope. Below is Aaron with Penelope and his mom.

Above is my grandparents with me and Penelope.
Hope you enjoyed seeing how the party turned out and how much fun we have. I leave you with the last picture of the birthday girl herself looking cute in her Paddington dress! Loves.

Penelope's Party - Food

Hello my wonderful readers. I worked really hard on Penelope's birthday party and one of the most important things for a mid day party is food. We had a Paddington theme even with some of the food. First off the cake and cupcakes were red velvet and the cupcakes had blue frosting to keep with the red and blue theme. For real food we had orange marmalade sandwiches (Paddington bear's favorite), cucumber tea sandwiches, ham and cheese sandwiches, veggies, fruit salad, English candies, I made Babybel cheese umbrellas (half a Babybel with the bendy part of the straw stuck in it for the handle), and fish and chips (Goldfish and potato chips). All was wonderful and I was really surprised in myself.

Hope you enjoy my little post about food and the set up we had. Look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks. Loves.

Penelope Is One!

Hello my wonderful readers. I can't believe my baby girl is ONE year old today!!! It's completely crazy to me how fast the time has gone by. It really does seem like yesterday that I was in a whole lot of pain right now trying to have her and after 30+ hours of labor she finally came and it was the most amazing feeling I have ever felt and I have never wanted to hold something so much and never felt so much love for something as I did when I pushed for the last time and there she was. I just remember it all like I just did it. She is so big now and taking her first steps and it all just seems unreal to me how that's possible. Aaron and I love her more than we could ever express. Here is a look at all the months leading up to this wonderful milestone for Penelope Ann.
She was born at 2:29pm so that's about the time I am posting this. I love her with everything I have and can't imagine life without her. Loves.

Penelope's Party - Decorations

Hello my wonderful readers. Sorry for the couple hour delay in post today I just put the finishing touches on the decorations for Penelope's 1st birthday party. In case you didn't read the last post the theme is Paddington Bear since that is her favorite book. I consider myself an intermediate crafter I would say so it took everything I had to make all of this in pretty much 4 days.
First thing was the high chair bunting. love how it turned out!
Then we did 12 months of photos from birth to 11 months because she isn't 12 months yet :-)
We have the good ol union jack flag.
Now this was the big project I knew I wanted to make but had to think hard how I was going to do it, but here is the tube sign. If you don't know the tube is the subway system in London, England. Below this sign is our fireplace which we will have our coffee table for presents to cover the ugly fireplace we don't use haha.
 A list of Penelope's Favorites.
The guestbook is so cute I think.
We got these cute pillow covers super cheap on Amazon and I might just keep them on there after the party too. Hi Charlie haha.
The Loo sign is my cute little sign hanging in the hall to point to the bathroom.
I know this picture is harder to see but it says "Happy 1st Birthday Penelope" I just could not get the lighting right. Hi Aaron haha.
I made a little banner with little Paddington Bears on them. We will also hang some streamers along here too.
We finally found a little cheap trunk and I made the favors and put them in it with the Paddington book that is her favorite.
And outside the front door this will hang with two balloons.
I can't wait to share the rest with you in the coming weeks. Hope you enjoy the decorations. Loves.

Penelope's Party - Invites

Hello my fabulous readers. It is that time already, Penelope is turning one! I cannot believe it at all. Me and Aaron are throwing her a small family birthday party at our place, nothing really fancy but I will show you what we are doing step by step. The theme of her birthday party will Paddington Bear because that is her favorite book. So I am going to have everything red and blue with a London theme to things because that is where Paddington goes when he leaves Peru. First on the agenda after the theme was invites.

So I took this picture of Paddington and put it on the tag but the tag is supposed to say what his says "Please look after this bear Thank you." On the back side of my tag was all the info for the party: when, where, time, rsvp. Also we included a map on where to park in our apartments and where our apartment is in the complex since we are in a building kind of hidden. I thought this was a simple and cute idea to stick with the theme. Can't wait to show you the rest of the party plans in future posts. Loves.
