Honeymoon Outfits

Hello my wonderful readers! I thought I would share some outfits of the day from my honeymoon, I went a lot of the time for just relaxing looks because we were walking a lot and I was on vacation :-).

Day one: We were in the car a lot so I wore flip flops (not pictured), black sweats, Hard Rock tank top with a light weight hoodie (light green for some color).
Day Two: We walked around a lot so I wore my black tennis shoes (not pictured), light blue skinny jeans (I found these in the clearance section at Old Navy for $2.90) :-), I have on a teal lace cami with a a sheer 3/4 sleeve v-neck top on with my pearls Aaron got me.

That night we went to a fancy restaurant so I wore my blue low cut pleated dress with my hair down and neutral makeup, with my pearls again and nude pumps.
Aaron work nice black dress shoes, black slacks, plain white dress shirt and red tie. I have a HOT husband!
Day three: We walked a little so I wore my black tennis shoes again, purple skinny jeans, mint green lace cami with mint green sparkle tank, my heart necklace and purple hair bow I made.

I had pretty neutral makeup with a little purple on the eye lid :-)
Day four: We relaxed by the pool and just hung out so I have my gold/brown flip flops, cut off shorts, blue lace cami with my light weight baby blue hoodie.
I did pretty neutral makeup with my new necklace from Top Shop ($6).
Day Five: The last day, when we were headed out of town we stopped at another casino, I have on flip flops (not pictured), blue cotton skirt from Old Navy (so comfy), pink lace cami with coral pink cover up, my pearls and neutral makeup.
Most of the trip I wore my hair up because it was mostly muggy or rainy and my hair down in both of those is not good haha. Hope you enjoyed all my relaxed outfits. Loves!

Outfit of the Day - September 26, 2013

Hello beautiful readers. Hope all of your days were amazing! I thought I would share what I decided on wearing today. I got ready for work today with my black tennis shoes of course (which you can't see but they are nothing special haha), my skinny jeans with my new sparkly top and sparkly necklace. I got my jeans at Old Navy, my top is also Old Navy, which are on sale right now for $12 and they have so many colors, my necklace is Top Shop for about $6. My sparkly top is a pink blush color with rose gold sequins, I am loving the rose gold right now. When I got home, I changed to some dark gray leggings that I got on sale for $3 and some EMU brown boots that I got as a gift last winter from my mother in law, so comfy to run errands in.

I hope you enjoyed my outfit of the day, Loves!!

Wednesday Recipe - Beef and Bean Burritos

Hello my wonderfully hungry readers! Today I am doing another one of the Pioneer Woman Cooks recipes. Beef and Bean Burritos were so very good!! We also had some leftovers for lunch the next day, which is what I love.
Ingredients:  2 lbs ground beef, 1 med onion diced, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 1/4 teaspoon ground oregano, 1/4 teaspoon chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, two 7 oz cans of Mexican tomato sauce or enchilada sauce (I used enchilada sauce), 1 28 oz can of refried beans, 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese (and a little extra for sprinkling), 12 burrito size flour tortillas
Directions:
Brown the ground beef and onions in a large skillet until all the way cook through
Add the cumin, oregano, chili powder, salt and combine really good
Pour in 1 can of the enchilada sauce
Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes
While that is simmering, heat up the refried beans in a pan
When the beans get warm add the cheese in and stir up really good
Heat the tortillas in the microwave for 1 minute
Spread a small amount of beans on the tortilla
Spread a small amount of ground beef
Roll it up like a burrito
Drizzle some the second can of sauce over it and sprinkle with cheese
Pop in the microwave for 1 minute
Enjoy!!

It just looks so good here!
We LOVED this recipe so much and will be making it again. Until next time. Loves!

Honeymoon Part 1!!

Hello my wonderful readers. I am so sorry for neglecting the blog for awhile. The wedding then the honeymoon and then the past couple weeks we have been getting back to "normal" life, going back to work and all that. We were so blessed to have received so many gifts and we are just so blessed from our wedding and the people who attended it. I have finished all but three of the thank you cards so I feel very accomplished :-).
So we were married on Saturday, September 7,

the next day we opened presents at my parents close by and we left for our honeymoon on Monday, September 9.  We drove 8 hours to Las Vegas, Nevada. We stayed there until Friday, September 13 at the Venetian Hotel. It was the nicest place I have ever stayed and we just had so much fun. We ate A LOT!! and we walked everywhere!! I have the blisters to prove it haha.

The drive there was long, I drove a little less than half way and Aaron drove the rest. We stopped 3/4 of the way there and took pictures with our car that was decorated by our awesome bridesmaids.

Welcome to Nevada sign finally!! :-)

 WELCOME TO FABULOUS LAS VEGAS!!

We came into town with sunshine (the picture on the top view from our room) the picture on the bottom was 30 minutes later it was down pouring haha.
Some loving pictures, tired from being in the car haha.
Our room: the living room (above), our bed (below)

The shower and amazing tub (above), the double sink area (below) door to the right was bathroom
Makeup mirror and vanity with stool, loved this!

The one thing I wanted to see so bad was the Bellagio water show, so Aaron took me the first night. :-)

This was the second day, it was hot and muggy so we stayed inside, this was in the Wynn.

 Aaron loved this car :-)
This was in the shops in Caesar's.
 Two of Aaron's favorites.

We chose one night to go to a really nice restaurant and this was our outfits for that night, we had steak and lobster at the Luxor. It was the best food I have EVER eaten!! Yummy!

Doesn't my husband clean up good :-)
When you go to Vegas you have to go to M&M World :-)
 Harley Cafe of course!

We went to a Pub also and I had the best fish and chips I have ever had and I have had them in England so that is saying something.

 Back relaxing.
We went to the Hard Rock Hotel just to look around one day.

We went to Fremont Street and on our way there we past Gold & Silver Pawn Shop from the show Pawn Stars that we love!!
Out and about at night watching the Volcano erupt at the Mirage.

Breakfast the last whole day we were there. Loving the rings :-)
My slot machine came up A & K, its meant to be :-) Aaron had fun at the penny slots.
The last full day we were there was sunny and not too hot so we did some pool time finally.

In front of our hotel fountain one last time.

On the way out of the town we had to go to the huge Bass Pro Shop of course, it was sooo cool :-)

So these are just part of the pictures I took, I will be doing another post soon with pictures that Aaron took and others we find :-) We just had so much not doing anything but being with each other and being newlyweds. Loves until next time.
