Hello my wonderful readers. I thought I would start out the "new" blog with a mommy topic. I have gone over in my mind since around the time Penelope was born the idea of cloth diapering her. The topic kind of got put on the back burner since we were so very blessed at both of our showers and by our parents over time to have only ever had to buy one case of diapers in 14 months. Over time I have tried to build up a little stash cheaply of different kinds of cloth to use. I have gotten some through a buy sell trade page on Facebook, and the rest we have gotten from friends that no longer cloth diaper their kids. I have gone through all the steps to prep them to go on her so don't worry they are sanitized completely. I started cloth diapering her part time when she was about 11 months old, I think, and we have both loved it. She does really good, even though we had some leaking at first we got our fit corrected and now its just figuring out the time length of the different diapers with her. I really only cloth diaper her when we are at home for majority of the day because I have yet to take the plunge to traveling with her in cloth. This week, since we are home from traveling for the holidays, I have been cloth diapering her all day for four days now and we have done really well. I will do a separate post on what diapers we have later when majority are clean. You can also look forward to a couple more cloth diapering posts in the future as we hopefully get into it full time. Hope your getting lots of Love in the new year! K

What Christmas Means to Me.
Hello my wonderful readers. Tomorrow is Christmas day and I can't believe how fast it got here. This is my favorite time of the year for sure. To me Christmas is about giving thanks to God for sending his son in the form of a baby to Earth to save us from our sin, that is the reason for the season! I think it's a time to say thanks to God for your family. It's nice to receive gifts, see Santa and eat food but that's not the real reason for the season. This year I have to admit we have gotten caught up in the season for the wrong reasons but next year will be different because I want to show Penelope what the real reason for celebrating Christmas is.
We did go see Santa for the first time and she hated it. She was all smiles in the long line, until we saw the big man.
Here is our Christmas card this year. It's my favorite one ever! Love you families! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Christmas in Our Place
Hello my wonderful readers. We aren't usually home on Christmas day until later but I love to decorate and I try so hard to wait until after Thanksgiving. This year I did wait to decorate but have been listening to Christmas music and watching movies since Halloween haha.
So this year we have a walking little girl so we had to rearrange the furniture and put the tree behind the couch and then we put it on top of a box so we could see majority of it. Have to make it work when you have little ones.
My husband has a collection of nutcrackers from when he was a kid, they are all over our house.
These are the Christmas cards we have received so far, including our own because I love it so much!
Stockings out of the way of grabby hands.
My mantel with more nutcrackers and a cute little Santa.
I love this little teddy bear.
I have many nativity scenes in the house all over at Christmas but this one is my favorite!
These little reindeer crack me up! This is my favorite Christmas candle ever! Outside, since we live in an apartment, we don't do much I have lights in our porch window and a banner that has Santa and elves and candy on it with a red bow on the door. Hope your Christmas decorating in going wonderful! Loves.

Penelope's Dedication
Hello my wonderful readers. A few weeks back we had Miss Penelope Ann dedicated to God. In our church you can choose to have your baby dedicated or baptized, we choose dedication because we wanted her to choose to be baptized herself when she understand what it means. In case you don't know dedicating your child to God means you are promising and the church family is promising to help raise her knowing Christ and knowing he is the only way to heaven. Aaron was raised his whole life going to church and was even dedicated himself at 2 months, I wasn't baptized until I was 17 by my own choice. This was something that was very important to us to to.
Aaron is saying why we want to dedicate her, she really wanted the microphone haha.
She received her own little children's bible that we have read every night since then to her before bed. Aaron then prayed for her.
These are the best pictures we could get of her after the service.
Both of our parents came to see the dedication, which was so great! Love in Christ to you.

Apple Hill Part 2
Hello my wonderful readers. As promised here are the other trips to Apple Hill that we have taken this year. After the last post we went once with my parents and my brother, sister in law and niece. We had a lot of fun. We went to this place called Mill View Ranch, it has a little kids town with all these little houses that are different things, so cute and my niece had a lot of fun and so did Penelope.
Next we went to a family favorite of ours Denver Dan's. Penelope even ate a little piece of apple.
The last stop and everyone's favorite is the Jack Russell Brewery.
Grandpa with his grand-girls. We had a lot of fun with them this year! Next year will be even better! The first stop that trip was the pumpkin patch for pumpkins, here was are below there.
The next couple weeks we went again just the three of us just to the brewery and to get out and have time together as a family. Here is daddy holding Penelope, she wearing a sweater Aaron wore as a little kid.
Hope you enjoy the photos of our family trips to one of our favorite places. The photos do it no justice it's just beautiful up there. Loves.
