Today Only!!....I Think

So today only I think at Bath and Body Works the 3-wick candles are $8 instead of $20!!! Big save if you are looking for Christmas gifts or just yourself! :-) I am heard this on twitter from someone so I had to go. I only got two cause I couldn't over spend because it is Christmas and I was buying for us not others haha. I got Hot Buttered Rum, which the description says, "An indulgent blend of buttered run, vanilla and a hint of smooth caramel that's perfect for your winter party." It smells so warm and good for the cold season.

The second one I got is Holiday. I love Christmas and this smells exactly like Christmas to me. I just about jumped for joy in the store when I smelled it! The description says, "A fragrance that captures the warmth and spices of the holidays with a special blend of cinnamon and clove highlighted by fresh bergamont." Amazing is how i would describe it!
Run and go get you some quick! Loves.

Outfit of the Day - December 13, 2013

Hello my fabulous readers! Today's outfit of the day is an outfit for just being comfortable at home. It has been so cold lately and we are trying to just stay home warm and relax. We actually for once are not going anywhere this weekend but I do have to work. :-( I've got on a crew neck grey sweatshirt that says "ever lasting love" in purple on it. I have on my Christmas flannel pj bottoms and some purple fuzzy socks. I am warm and comfy and just doing housework on my couple days off this week.

Hope you stay warm and comfy yourself. Loves.

Life this Past Weekend

Hello my wonderful readers! I hope all of your weekends went well. I have had a heck of a weekend. On Saturday we went to my mother in law's house to pick her up to go the party and she wasn't doing good we had to call 911 to come get her and take her to the hospital. She got there and they hydrated her but she also caught some bacteria in the ER. She is still in the hospital and will hopefully be going home tomorrow. Prayers for her and for my husband would be greatly appreciated. I will be back to my regular posts after this whole thing is done. Loves.

Outfit of the Day - December 6, 2013

Hello fabulous readers! Today's outfit of the day is for a family members 90th birthday party. I am pretty sure it's casual so I am going to wear my good ol' blue jeans with a tan long sleeve v-neck tee, both from Old Navy, tee is on sale right now for cheap!! I am going to wear what me and my friends call my "bird shoes" they are a special edition of Vans that came out a couple years ago and I love them!

Above you see I am going to wear gold jewelry, mint green bow necklace with flower earrings and a little charm bracelet. below you see a closer view of the awesome Vans!!
Since it will most likely be cold I am going to top it off with a mint green cardigan, also from Old Navy.
Hope you enjoyed my outfit of the day this week, tune in next week for another outfit! Loves.

Wednesday Recipe - Mama's Chicken Enchiladas

Hello my hungry, hungry readers! Today I am sharing my version of my mama's enchiladas. Growing up my dad always did the cooking but my mom would make her enchiladas every once in awhile and they were like a treat we would look forward to all day and everyone would be home for dinner magically that night haha. Because it is a homemade recipe I don't really have exact measurements, its really whatever we want more of the day I'm making it or whatever we have most of, its by taste.
Ingredients: tortillas, boneless, skinless chicken breasts (boiled and shredded), refried beans, green chilies, enchilada sauce, shredded cheese

Directions:
1. boil the chicken and shred it all up
2. preheat the oven to 350 degrees
3. in a baking dish put some of the enchilada sauce, enough to cover the bottom
4. take a tortilla, put some refried beans, shredded chicken, green chilies, a little enchilada sauce and cheese

5. roll up and place in dish

6. do as many as your dish will hold
7. pour enchilada sauce over the top of the tortillas so they are all completely covered (if they are not all covered they will burn)
8. cover the whole thing with cheese
9. bake for 30 minutes
Hope you enjoyed this recipe from my mama's home. Loves.

Date with my Boys!

Hello lovelies! A couple of weekends ago I went on a beautiful picnic date with my two favorite boys, my husband Aaron and my doggie Charlie. We just decided since we didn't have anything to do after church we would go for a picnic since we got a nice picnic basket for a wedding gift. We went out to the same place that we took our engagement pictures.
My two favorite boys :-)
 Our beautiful picnic basket
Aaron found a feather haha. I love him so much :-). Hope you enjoy picnics like I do! Loves.
