All Settled In

Hello my wonderful readers. Thank you for hanging on with me over the past couple weeks with brief posts due to the moving going on. I'll tell you, you never know how much stuff you have until you have to pack it all up and move it all. I don't know if it was good or bad that we stayed in the same apartment complex because we just used a hand truck and ourselves to carry everything across the complex. One of the good things is that since we are in a bigger place we no longer require a storage unit down the street. This past weekend we hung everything on the walls and unpacked the last box, which I think is amazing to be all unpacked in one week. Penelope is doing good having her own room, she has pretty much slept through the night no problems since we moved in (look for more detail in my 10 month update). I think we are just all much happier because we have more room. It's amazing what a little more room can do. Aaron and I can go in our room at night and watch something together on the kindle or just talk about our day together without having to creep in and hope we don't wake the baby getting into bed. The downside to this apartment was that we are now downstairs with upstairs neighbors and we have had some electrical outlets not working so they are going to be fixed hopefully today. I am tired though from quickly getting unpacked and trying to get everyone back into the schedule of things. The moving process took three days, that's how long the apartment complex gave us to transfer all of our stuff and clean the apartment we were leaving. So Friday Aaron took the hand truck and pretty much moved everything we possibly could move alone without help while I watched the baby and dog and all that. Saturday my parents and brother came and helped clear out our storage unit and move everything else, big things like the bed and crib etc. Saturday afternoon we started cleaning the small apartment. Sunday we cleaned like we have never cleaned before the small apartment, it was amazingly clean, cleaner than when we moved in for sure and then we said goodbye and dropped the keys in the office. I did cry a little because that is where my water broke and we brought Penelope home there and that is really the only home she has known so far, but onto bigger things and happier things. We love the new place is what this post is about, we are happier for sure! Loves.

Bouncing Baby - Park Fun in the Sun and Water

Hello my wonderful readers. A couple weeks ago we went to the spray park with Moms group for the first time. Penelope had fun sitting in the water and watching the water come in and out of the ground. After the water time we had a bottle then changed and played on the swings for a little bit and she liked them so much she almost fell asleep.

She had so much fun she was asleep before we got out of the parking lot going home. Loves.

Bouncing Baby - Children's Museum

Hello my wonderful readers. A few weeks back we went to the children's museum and had so much fun. They have a baby area and Penelope had lots of fun crawling around in it. I had her in the backpack for the rest of the place so she could touch things but not get run over by the bigger kids. She didn't know right at first and then got used to it and had a ball.

She loved the mirror and seeing herself haha. I hope you enjoy. Loves.

Bouncing Baby - 9 Month Update

Hello my wonderful readers. I can't believe my baby girl is 9 months old now! Wow! Where has the time gone? As of 3 days ago she has been outside me as long as she was inside. As I'm writing this my husband is gone for a couple nights for family reasons and I am home alone for the first time with the baby, it seems crazy in 9 months I have not been alone overnight with her. So 9 months has also brought a few other firsts, like that she has taken a couple steps pushing her push toy and we also had our first blow out diaper. I am now a real mom! HAHAHA!!
She loves Daniel Tiger and Minnie Mouse.
She loves baths and plays and splashes.
She says dada the most but has said mama and baba.
She loves to stand up next to the coffee table.
She loves fruits and anything with apples in it.
She has tried toast and Ritz crackers besides her puffs.
She loves playing peek-a-boo, especially with daddy.
She still loves to put everything in her mouth.
She is sitting up unsupported now.
She is using a sippy cup every now and then.
She is now in a big girl car seat, still rear facing but not longer in an infant carrier.

Hope you enjoy this update as much as we love Penelope! Don't blink we will be at 1 year before you know it. Loves.

Bouncing Baby - 1st 4th of July

Hello my wonderful readers. Around the 1st of July last year we found out that we were having a girl, this year we celebrated her first 4th of July. She liked the fireworks after being a little unsure at first. We live in an apartment complex so we bought only two small fountain fireworks and some sparklers and went out to the street when it got dark and did just those. We went to a BBQ at my family's house during the day so she was pretty tired by the end of the day. Also we had a little 4th of July photo shoot.
Above is her petting Charlie in the morning right after her bottle, she loves her doggie and he is so good with her. Below is what she actually wore on 4th of July, one of her grandmas got the little dress for her.

Above is her and daddy in their red, white and blue. Below is her with her necklace cousin Ashlee gave her.
Here she is playing with Ashlee.

Daddy lighting fireworks in the street and demonstrating the sparklers.

She was sleepy but liked them anyways.

She did so good! Grandma got her this little outfit.

These are the outtakes from the shoot haha. Charlie had to have his picture taken too.
Hope you had a wonderful 4th weekend! Aaron was off Friday for the holiday so we had an extra day to relax as a family and just enjoy each other. Loves.

Bouncing Baby - First Baseball Game

Hello my wonderful readers. In June my husband's company got a suite at the Sacramento Rivercats game for all who wanted to attend. It was a night game so we thought we would go for a few innings and then go home and put baby girl to bed. She was surprisingly wonderfully behaved and we all had a great time. We also got a chance to see Matt Cain from the Giants pitch because he was down in minor league recovering from an injury.
Her and her daddy, he was so excited to take her to her first baseball game.
Us up in the box with Penelope posing for the picture haha she is such a ham.
Matt Cain pitching.
 Afterwards outside the stadium.

We all had fun and everyone said she was the cutest thing ever. Hope to go to more in the future. Loves.
