Post #3 - Moving and Pregnant

Hello my wonderful readers. I am very sorry for neglecting my blog, as you can tell my title of my post I am both moving and pregnant. This is posing somewhat of a challenge. I can pack all the boxes I want but I just can't lift them and put them where I want. I am extremely tired from packing and being pregnant. my husband is tired from packing at home and at the office. Our doggie doesn't exactly know what is going on so he is a little frazzled. But overall we move in about 2 days and almost everything is packed, which is good. How we are going to fit it all into our new place, since it is a lot smaller, is the question.
Pregnancy wise I am doing good, I will be 12 weeks on Monday so I will coming out of the first trimester! I am no longer sick feeling all the time, which is awesome, but I am really exhausted and emotional. The exhausted part is ok, I can deal with it, but the emotional part is hard. I just cry for no reason, it really is freaking my husband out. But hopefully that will pass soon too. I have gone into maternity clothes, I own one pair of jeans, a skirt (both have the over the belly elastic), and two tops. Otherwise I have just been wearing my maxi dresses and bigger t-shirts with leggings. My jeans won't button and I bought The Belly Band and it wouldn't work for my body. Other than that I have only craved Icees and Taco Bell haha. Once we get moved and internet going I plan on getting on here and sharing a lot more with you about what I am eating and doing to prepare for our little one.
This is our little gummy bear at 8 weeks 4 days

This was me at 11 weeks, this week. Hope you enjoy! Loves.

Post #2 - Still Thinking of a Name

Hello my wonderful readers! I am very sorry for the neglect of my blog this week. We are packing and going to have a yard sale and having baby doctor appointments. We are just very busy but I will for sure try to pick it all up again next week hopefully. We did get to the doc to see our little gummy bear of a baby last Friday. We got to hear its heartbeat, which is more than words can describe, it's an amazing experience and me and my husband both almost cried it was so awesome. Our baby did literally look like a gummy bear on the screen, minus the ears on top haha. But now that we have had the ultrasound and all that, and tests have been ordered for genetic screening, I have to fight to get all my stuff transferred to the new doctor in the next two weeks before we move, which is proving to be a challenge. Other than doctor stuff, I finally threw up for the first time after 9 weeks of pregnancy, which was not a happy day. I have been craving junk food but my doctor said that's a big no-no to eat. My weirdest and still my number one craving is a California Roll with a chili cheese hot dog, haha. Well gotta get packing. Loves!

Verse of the Week

Hello my wonderful readers. This week's verse is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."  This verse means a lot to me, no matter what happens I can do anything as long as I believe in The Lord. This verse is especially important to me right now because we are moving, I'm moving to a new store and I'm pregnant all at the same time. It's a lot to take on all at once so I am going to be praying a lot and looking at this verse. Just believe in Him and you can do anything. Loves.

Outfit of the Day - March 28, 2014

Hello my fabulous readers! So today's outfit of the day was for my cousins wedding. It was March 21st and it was an outdoor wedding. I thought this dress was very spring like with the sandals. This is a mint green dress from Dress Barn, it has little cap sleeves and a cut out in the back. I wore just mint green sandals, hair up, makeup natural and rose gold/gold jewelry.
Here is one of me and Aaron at the wedding having fun.
Hope you enjoy this cute spring outfit as much as I do. Loves.

Wednesday Recipe - Classic Bean Dip

Hello my hungry readers. Today I am going to share with you something that I have been craving a lot lately, and that is bean dip and chips. Not the healthiest thing but it is so good.
Ingredients: any kind of refried beans you prefer, enchilada sauce, grated cheese of your choice, tortilla chips
Directions:
1. On a plate put as much refried beans from the can as desired
2. Pour enchilada sauce over them, it should be about a 1/4 of the amount of the beans you used
3. Grate you cheese over the top to lightly cover it
4. Microwave for about a minute and half or until the beans are warm and the cheese is melted
5. Mix all together
6. Enjoy with tortilla chips,  I love Toastitos thin and crispy
Hope you enjoy this delicious snack as much as I do. Loves.

Verse of the Week

Hello wonderful readers. Today's verse of the week is from Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." This verse is important to me because me and Aaron have had multiple conversations about how we are going to raise our children and what we will teach them. I do believe this verse, what you teach your children will stick with them for the rest of their lives. Give your children lots of love for sure, I think that is one of the most important things to give them. Loves.
